PATCH - Introduced to Vietnam by French Foreign Legion Operatives at end of WWII and worn by numerous operatives throughout French Indochina War.

Patch was unauthorized and officially forbidden - Later adapted by US Special Forces, Recon Operatives taking over Montagnard Mercenary Roles from previous French control - Again Unauthorized.
